Training Unlimited Animal Actors are production professionals. We have been in the business since 1983, providing trained animals for feature films, television programs, television commercials, advertisements, theatrical performances and live performances.
We uphold the ethics and codes of The American Humane Society's Film and TV Unit, which insures that no harm will ever come to any animal on set.
We provide dogs, cats, birds, horses, rodents, rabbits and exotic animals that are well-handled, tame and trained. Our trainers are professional animal handlers.
When hiring an animal actor always clearly explain exactly what the animal action will be. This will help us give you a well prepared animal, that will perform efficiently, decreasing production time. There is no such thing as "just be a dog" or "just be a cat" on set. Every action requires training preparation!

Pricing:
Please keep in mind that it's not what the animal would cost to obtain, it's how much time and money goes into the training and care of the animal throughout its life. Should you require specific behaviors such as speak, hold a specific object, fetch a specific object or something else which requires pre-training, please keep in mind that there will be pre-training fees. The amount of pre-training time depends on the behavior requested.
It's tough to give an exact price as every production is different, however, if you're currently bidding for the job, please contact us for a ball-park figure. We charge regular day rates for the animals and trainers.

K9 Actors

All of our K9s are very well trained and in great condition. We never bring a dirty, unprepared dog to a production. All dogs are trained in the basic commands of heel, sit/stay, down/stay, come and stand. They are distraction proofed and friendly with other animals and people. Many of our dogs can also perform complex behaviors such as fetch, hold, speak, shake, twirl, wear clothing, and more. With enough notice they can learn most any complex behavior.

Equine Actors
Click here to view our Equine Actors. If you don't see a horse you are looking for we can easily obtain something you have in mind. All of our horses are very calm and easy-going.
We don't stock buggies, carts or historical period tack.
We network Internationally to obtain the animals you request. We can obtain farm livestock, exotic mammals and birds, even Elephants. The only animals we don't provide are Primates, Great Apes, spiders, insects, indigenous wildlife (unlawful to own these animals) or endangered species.
